Police are appealling for information following an assault at Elms Park in Thame.

Two girls were in the play area of the park at about 3pm on Tuesday when a group of about six teenagers, all boys, came up to one of the girls, aged 14, and assaulted her.

The girl suffered bruising and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.

PC Wayne Griffin said: “There were lots of people around at the time in the park and I would like anyone who may have seen this incident to get in touch.”
