The new Dulux Weathershield BackPack Roller System is designed to make painting the outside of your home quick and easy.
The system is simple to set up: you screw the power unit onto the paint pack, place it in the rucksack and insert the dip tube. Put on the rucksack — which is padded, adjustable and ergonomically designed to sit comfortably on your back — and you are ready to start.
There is a trigger on the roller handle to control the flow of paint and, because the paint pack is on-board, you don't have to keep stopping (and getting off the ladder if you are using one) to reload the roller.
This also means less mess — there is no pouring, no trays, no spills, no overspray and no drips, so your finish should be smooth and splatter-free. A range of accessories is available to help make the job easier, including an edging kit and an extension pole for hardto- reach areas.
Cleaning is easy, too: you attach the supplied adapter to a tap and flush through to clean the tube and pump. You then wash the roller in the usual way.
The system is designed to work with Dulux Weathershield BackPack Roller System Masonry Paint, which contains a high-performance acrylic resin and creates a UV-resistant film that protects against cracking and flaking caused by UV damage, mould, algae and fungal growth.
Available in six colours in a smooth finish, the paint is rainproof in just half an hour and comes with a 15-year guarantee.
The Dulux Weathershield BackPack Roller System costs around £49.99 and the System Masonry Paint costs around £20.99 for five litres of white or £24.99 for the other colours.
