POLLUTION figures showing that St Aldate’s is the ninth-most polluted place in England are worrying and so is the admission that, because of bus stop moves as part of the county council’s Transform Oxford scheme, the situation will get worse before it improves.
But the problem is identified at least and the bus companies are introducing increasing numbers of vehicles that achieve the latest emissions standards.
