A man has been remanded in custody accused of motoring offences.
Rikki Brackett, 29, of Nunnery Close, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody to reappear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 28.
Brackett has been accused of driving with no insurance and has also been charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and driving with no insurance after a blue Rover was stolen from an address in Bayswater Road on August 9.
A 25-year-old man has also been arrested for taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving whilst disqualified and making off without payment. He has been released on bail until August 20.
