The family of a grandmother found dead in fields near Gawcott, today released a tribute to her.

Sally Hingston, 67, also known as Sybil Louise Hingston, was found dead last week.

The family said: "Sally has been tragically taken away from us. "A caring, ever supportive wife, mother and grandmother who was much loved by her family and all the many people fortunate enough to have known her and called her their friend.

"Her enthusiastic, devoted, free spirited and open minded approach to everything she did in life was an inspiration to all.

"She will be greatly missed by anyone and everyone privileged to have known her."

Mrs Hingston was last seen near Windbush Farm, between Gawcott and Tingewick, when she was out for a walk. Police said she had suffered head injuries.
