Oxford City Council has signed a three year contract with Oxfordshire-based internet and intranet solution provider Oxford Information Labs (Oxil), for the council's website and intranet system.
The website, which will go live in November, complements the current Oxil products being used by Oxford City Council, which allow people with disabilities or reading problems to use the site.
The company, based at Oxford Science Park, has spent three years developing the system, called DECORATOR.CMS.
Oxil’s managing director, Lucien Taylor, said: “We are delighted that Oxford City Council have chosen Oxil as its content management system provider.
"It was a highly competitive tender and the strength of our team and our product features clearly made our solution the best choice for the task.”
