A 17-YEAR-OLD youth appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today charged in connection with a series of robberies in the city.
On Sunday, a 45-year-old Swedish man and a 46-year-old Swedish woman were forced to hand over money at knifepoint in Merton Street.
Shortly afterwards, a 17-year-old Swedish boy was mugged at knifepoint in Magpie Lane.
An attempted robbery allegedly took place in Christ Church Meadow on Tuesday.
The teenager cannot be named for legal reasons.
