Broken Earth Semillon/Chardonnay 2007: Made from grapes sourced from a selection of quality vineyards in Australia’s premium grape-growing regions, this crisp, fresh wine has aspects of delicious citrus and apricot flavours that set the taste buds tingling.
One Chain ‘The Opportunist’ Colombard/Sauvignon/ Riesling 2008: One Chain is an old imperial measurement for 22 yards — or the length of a cricket pitch. The wine itself is vibrant and grassy with touches of fresh apple and grapefruit combined with lifted aromatic touches of lemons and limes.
Dry River Shiraz 2008: With smoky, rich fruit on the nose and spicy, red berry fruit on the palate, this is a classic example of Australian Shiraz that goes well with earthy spicy foods in particular.
Cranswick Lakefield Shiraz/Cabernet 2007: The Lakefield Nature Reserve is one of Australia’s largest wildlife reserves. It is home to many rare species such as the Sarus Crane featured on the label. The wine itself displays deep rich mulberry fruit and spice with hints of dark chocolate and a long, balanced finish.
