Two 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at Chipping Norton Football Club on Sunday.
Officers were patrolling the area at about 3am when they came across the two men at the club’s Walterbush Road ground, stood over two patio umbrellas which were on fire.
As the officers approached, the men ran off, but were quickly captured and arrested.
Two men have been bailed to appear back at Witney police station on August 20 at 1pm.
