I would like to remind everyone that before the current crisis with St Christopher’s school it has been through an awful lot of change already.

I worked as an learning support assistant there for eight years – my last few years supporting Chris Hills and admiring the work and enthusiasm he put into his Dhol Drumming group, after school and at weekends.

He got the kids out into the community, raising money for good causes and, most importantly, having fun and raising self-esteem. Well done Chris.

Do not forget we fought hard to keep Temple Cowley Middle School, all to no avail.

So St Christopher's went through massive change. Years of building work to accommodate the extra numbers, staff pulling together and accommodating all this change.

The carrot then was the long awaited new nursery block, which I may add has just undergone more building work to make room for more children.

So now it’s finished it’s proposed that it’s all going to have to be moved!

What madness is going on here?

It's just unthinkable and completely ludicrous to even propose it, after all the money that's been spent on it and the upheaval staff and pupils have already been through.

Leave it alone and let it get on with raising standards.

Come on parents let’s hear your voices. Save your school!
