SCHOOL pupils in Bicester, Spain and Finland have been swapping traditional recipes to produce a cook book with an international flavour.
Over the past three years pupils from the town’s Cooper School have been building up friendships with students in Rautalampi, Finland, and La Puebla de Cazalla, Andalucia, Spain. And now the links have resulted in a book filled with recipes from all three countries.
Among the English offerings were traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole. From Spain, pupils could try making meat croquettes or spinach with chick peas. And from Finland there was oven baked salmon, and carrot pancakes.
Copies of the book can be bought from the school on 01865 242121.
