Police have cordoned off Carfax Tower in Oxford City Centre after a woman fell to the ground.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said a woman in her forties had fallen from the top of the tower.
She said: “Our officers are operating a scene watch at the moment, the tower is closed and the area is cordoned off.”
Ambulance staff were called to the scene at 12.26pm and the woman was taken to hospital.
The spokesman could not confirm the extent of the woman’s injuries.
