Andrew Smith MP pleads his innocence on expenses but what he failed to say was that like all MPs, whether they claimed expenses or not, he and they knew only too well what was going on.

Knowing what was happening and doing nothing about it makes them just as bad.

If it had not been for a whistle blower and the media it would still be happening today.

Voting is all about trust, and MPs have abused that trust. Therefore people will not bother to vote.

Is that what politicians want, and is that democracy?
