Firefighters today said they believed an arsonist started a blaze in a three-bedroom house in Barton.
Two fire crews from Oxford were called to the blaze in the second storey of a three-storey house in Green Ridges at 3.17pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said an investigation was carried out using a specially trained dog and arson was suspected.
She said no-one was injured in the blaze.
