FOOTBALL fans heading for the England v Ukraine World Cup qualifying game at London’s Wembley Stadium tomorrow are being urged to let the train get them to and from the big match.
Chiltern Railways will be running a modified timetable from lunchtime, with most trains between Banbury, Kings Sutton, Bicester North and Haddenham & Thame Parkway and London Marylebone making extra stops at Wembley Stadium station ahead of kick-off at 8pm, while all northbound trains after 9.15pm will call at Wembley to pick up fans heading home after the game.
Passengers not going to the football match are advised that late evening northbound trains are expected to be very busy after the final whistle For more information, see the train operator's website
