OXFORDSHIRE’S MPs are generally well respected among their constituents for their efforts, but the latest expenses bill totalling almost £900,000 is a shock.
It has been a significant rise on the previous year’s and will come under more scrutiny than ever before because of the controversial claims of others (including their husband’s private viewing ‘pleasures’).
The whole system is now so discredited that surely it needs reforming or dumping.
