More than 60 Oxford trade unionists, postal workers, teachers and climate change activists are on their way to London to take part in a march for “jobs, justice and climate”.
The group left Oxford’s Martyrs’ Memorial in St Giles at about 9am.
Dave Radford, from Unison, said: “I think it’s going to be a good turnout for Oxford.
“The mood on the bus is very positive and people are in good spirits.”
Thousands of people are expected to take part in the protest in Central London.
