We are reassured to hear that the Environment Agency is to begin consultations on a flood ‘bypass’ for Oxford. It is important for all to get involved and press the case for a significant flood channel to provide the ultimate solution to the city’s flooding problems.
There are many towns and cities competing for flood alleviation measures. Oxford needs to make its voice heard loud and clear. We may not get another chance to solve this for a long time to come.
