Police want more information after an elderly woman in Cumnor foiled an attempted burglary.
The 84-year-old lady grew suspicious of two men who knocked on her door in Robsart Place posing as water officials. She allowed them in but then went to fetch her son, who lives nearby and who forced the men out.
They did not take anything.
One of the men was described as white and wore a dark jacket and a dark baseball cap.
The incident happened on Wednesday, January 7 at 5.25pm.
