A 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was hurt in an accident with a car in Windrush, at Ruscote, Banbury, on Thursday.
The boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to The Horton Hospital.
Pc Ricky Ell said: “I'm appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward and also would like to ask the driver of the car to contact me.
“The car was a silver hatchback and the driver stopped to help at the scene but left before we arrived. I need to speak to the man, as he could help me with my inquiries.”
