Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas and club secretary Mick Brown have arrived in Birmingham ahead of the club's appearance before a Conference panel for fielding an illegible player. It is said United failed to supply the Football Conferecne authoritiesd with the correct paperwork for Eddie Hutchinson. United are challenging the allegation.
The Us face the prospect of being deducted 11 points for failing to properly register Hutchinson.
The 11 point penalty is the number of points they picked up while the midfielder was playing.
United are appearing at a Football Conference hearing where Bognor Regis Town and Crawley Town also face charges.
