A body found on secluded farmland is believed to be a man who has been missing for six months.
Brendan Shaw, 44, of Vintner Road, in Abingdon, has been reported missing since July.
The body of a man was found near to the village of Lower Radley yesterday.
Detectives believe it is the body of Mr Shaw and the next of kin have been informed. Formal identification has not taken place adn the death is not being treated as suspicious.
