A 23-year-old man has been remanded in custody over the death of a passenger in a car crash near Woodstock.
John Biddle, 23, appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court today, charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Leonard Parker, 21, of Cornish Road, in Chipping Norton, west Oxfordshire, died when the car he was a passenger in crashed on the A44 north of Woodstock.
A white Peugeot 306 and a silver Vauxhall Astra collided near the junction with the B4027 at Glympton at 10.55pm on Saturday.
A 17-year-old boy was also injured in the crash.
Biddle, of Lockerley Way, Havant, Hampshire, was remanded in custody to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on December 11.
