A man arrested in connection with a £56,000 fraud involving an Oxford woman has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Eric Fretten, 61, formerly of Cowley Road, Oxford, was arrested by police in October on suspicion of fraud by false representation, after a 38-year-old Headington woman reported to police she was conned out of thousands of pounds.
Fretten was bailed for a second time on Wednesday until January 5.
