Simon Webbe blasted David Van Day after being voted off 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' last night (03.12.08).

The former Blue member slammed the ex-Dollar singer for making an intentionally light-hearted comment about suicide.

Simon said: "He annoyed me when he said he could have topped himself after spending a night in a cave. I've lost friends that way - so it upset me.

"But I expect him to be in the final."

The 29-year-old - who compared his time in the camp to "living in a pressure cooker" - insisted he was "relieved" to leave the jungle and doubted he would have survived much longer on the show.

He added: "I'm relieved to be out. I was surrounded by massive personalities.

"I didn't think I'd last long because I didn't do many trials. But it was nice to be a part of it, I enjoyed the mental part."

The other three remaining contestants are former 'EastEnders' star Joe Swash, 'Star Trek' actor George Takei and tennis ace Martina Navratilova.

David Van Day is second favourite to win 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The former Dollar singer's odds have been slashed by more than half - 3/1 down from 8/1 - following ex-Blue member Simon Webbe's exit last night (03.12.08).

The calculating contestant has revealed plans to manipulate super hot favourite Joe Swash - who is tipped to win at odds of 2/5 by bookmakers Ladbrokes - into bullying him in order to garner favour with voters, just as he claims to have done with glamour model Nicola McLean.

He said in a bizarre monologue to himself: "It was all part of my plan. I think I'll try to make him look silly by being rude to me all the time."

David has caused friction in the camp since he entered as a late contestant with former children's TV presenter Timmy Mallett days after the show began.

He infuriated his fellow campers by refusing to sleep in a cave and attempted to form secret coups to get other celebrities booted out.
