Troops from the Didcot-based 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps, have marched through the town as part of a homecoming parade.
Thousands of well-wishers lined the streets as the soldiers marched from the Orchard Centre to the Town Hall.
The bomb disposal experts, based at Vauxhall Barracks, have been in Afghanistan and Iraq working alongside frontline troops.
As part of today’s ceremony, the soldiers will received their Afghanistan and Iraq service medals from mayor Tony Harbour at a civic reception in Didcot Town Hall.
