Police today appealed for witnesses after a 64-year-old woman was knocked to the ground in Oxford by two men who were fighting.
At about 8.10pm on November 11, the woman was walking along Cornmarket Street, near to the shop Lush, outside the Clarendon Centre, when two men who were fighting knocked her over.
The woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Det Con Louise Tompkins said: “I would like anyone who might have seen the two men fighting, or before the fight broke out to contact me.
“The woman was out shopping but ended up suffering from a cracked vertebra and has been left shocked by the incident and I urge anyone with any information to get in touch.”
