Timmy Mallett has complained he was bullied on 'I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The children's TV presenter - who left the show this weekend after losing a trial against Brian Paddick - says he was treated unfairly by some of the contestants, in particular glamour model Nicola McLean, presenter Dani Behr and fitness trainer Carly Zucker.

He said: "They had issues. They resented the fact I was a newcomer and got airtime. The bullying came from their jealousy.

"Nicola was so rude. It's not nice when someone calls you a d******d.

"Carly doesn't want me at her wedding but I don't care. I'm not worried how people see me. I just say 'boff' to it all."

Despite his unhappiness at the younger women in the camp, Timmy had praise for two of the other contestants, David Van Day and Joe Swash.

He added: "My first impression of David was, 'What a nutter'. But he is a delightful nutter and a great friend. David has courage. He was bullied and stood up for himself.

"Joe's also brave. When David and I were bullied, he said, 'I'm not having it'. He stood up to older people who should be wiser. I admire it."

Carly Zucker said appearing on 'I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!' was "the worst two weeks" of her life.

The fitness trainer - who is engaged to soccer star Joe Cole - admitted that although she made some close friends on the show, it was nothing like she had anticipated when she agreed to appear.

Carly said: "I've made some fantastic friends in there - but it was the worst two weeks of my life.

"I found it difficult not being able to see or speak to Joe and the boredom really got to me.

"I'm not afraid of hard work but it was the toughest thing I've ever done.

The weather was bad. There was mud everywhere. Often I was in wet clothes and freezing. Every day got harder.

"It wasn't what I expected at all."

Despite struggling to cope in camp, Carly says she would never have quit because she didn't want to let down the Alzheimer's Research Forum, the charity she was raising money for by appearing on the show.

She added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I was so miserable, upset, lethargic and hungry. I hated it for the last few days on the show but I didn't want to let the charity down."
