Timmy Mallett has been evicted from 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'

after losing a Bushtucker Trial.

The children's TV presenter went head-to-head with Brian Paddick after they received the lowest number of public votes on Saturday (29.11.08), meaning they had to take part in the 'Last Chance Saloon' to fight for their jungle survival.

The challenge turned out to be an eating and drinking contest, which vegetarian Timmy struggled with - even resorting to underhanded tactics to try and beat his rival.

Timmy was losing two rounds to one when he decided to try and put his rival off the challenge - to consume a glass of worms - by grabbing his wrist was shaken off by Brian who managed to ignore the saboteur's efforts to win the trial, meaning the presenter had to leave camp.

Returning to camp, Brian told the other celebrities about Timmy's attempt to cheat, saying: "It was very unfair, see these marks here in my arm, it's out of order. The worm was wriggling about in the glass and Timmy was dragging it out when he suddenly grabbed my arm - that was a deliberate attempt to stop me chewing and to stop me swallowing.

"He has a calculating side to him that I didn't find pleasant so I'm not going to be crying on my pillow about the fact that Timmy's gone."

However, Timmy's close friend David Van Day defended his tactics, saying in the Bush Telegraph: "Some would call it cheating, I'd call it aggressive tactics. They are making hay of it in the camp."

David Van Day rowed with his camp mates again over his bed.

The former Dollar star was angered after his fellow 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestants asked him to give up the prime sleeping spot in the bus for Simon Webbe, who had hurt his neck.

Sceptical David said: "Well I knew earlier this was coming. I think it's about just getting me off the bus I don't think Simon really needs the bed."

When Esther Rantzen then offered to give up her flat bed to David and sleep in a hammock, angry glamour model Nicola McLean said: "No, I'm having the flat bed then, I've been here longer and my back's sore as well. I said to Esther if she's giving up her bed then I'll go in the bed, ladies first."

Martina Navratilova also felt it was fair for Nicola to have the bed, rather than David, who arrived late into camp, arguing that some celebrities who had to live in the Away camp had to sleep on the ground for four days then moved into hammocks, while David had been in the camp for fewer days and got a bed when he was held hostage.

Brian Paddick eventually agreed to sleep in a hammock and give David his bed after saying he felt the singer was being treated unfairly by the rest of the camp.

Nicola McLean threatened to quit following a row with David Van Day.

Still angry over their confrontation about sleeping arrangements the sobbing glamour model said she was growing tired of life on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' and once again voiced her desire to go home.

She sobbed in the Bush Telegraph: "I want to go home. I'm not staying here any more, I want to go home 100%. I'm going, I'm done. I feel really uneasy I can't be a***d I don't need it. I can't express myself because Joe Swash will have a fit.

"I have been in a hammock and slept on the floor. I haven't moaned the whole time I've been here, I know it's not a five star hotel but why should I sleep in a hammock and David on a bed? I can't work out how people can't see that."

In addition to her repeated clashes with the former Dollar singer, Nicola - whose close friend Carly Zucker was evicted on Friday (28.11.08) - is now struggling to get on with several of her other camp mates.

She added: "Joe is blatantly not talking to me but I don't want to go up to him, I don't want to look argumentative. I feel uneasy with Joe and David in camp and I don't think that's fair so I'll go home please. David is a complete p***k trying to wind me up. Should I just back down and feel like this?

"I'm not going to play a cat and mouse game. Simon Webbe's not saying a word. I don't have a problem with Joe, Esther Rantzen is being a complete f***ing d******d and George Takei says he admires Joe - for what? I'm not going to feel like this. I've had a good day and then I come back to this."

Ending her rant, the glamour model then collapsed to the floor and sobbed.

Esther Rantzen became the fifth person to be evicted from 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' last night (30.11.08).

The 68-year-old TV presenter had to leave the jungle after polling the least amount of votes from the public. She had been placed in the bottom two with ex-Blue singer Simon Webbe.

Upon being told she was leaving by presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Esther exclaimed: "I feel f***ing great!"

During her interview with the duo, the former 'That's Life!' star admitted she would miss her campmates, saying: "I feel very sorry to leave because they are such lovely people and there are so many wonderful experiences. But I feel it's the right time."

Esther also admitted she felt uncomfortable with the apparent bullying of David Van Day and Timmy Mallett - who had to leave the jungle yesterday after losing 'The Last Chance Saloon' head-to-head Bushtucker Trial to Brian Paddick.

She praised former 'EastEnders' actor Joe Swash for confronting Brian and glamour Nicola McLean over their behaviour towards the pair.

Esther said: "People would gang up against two individuals. If you told me before what would happen I would have felt I could have handled it, but I couldn't. It took little Joe, who suddenly got very angry about it and held up a mirror to the people doing it and made them see what they were doing. I felt quite inadequate."
