Joe Swash has warned against some members of the camp forming a clique.

Joe voiced his concerns that some of the celebrity team - namely Timmy Mallett - aren't getting fair treatment and other members of the group aren't making them feel comfortable enough.

The star warned he feels Dani, Simon and Nicola were forming a group, and told Timmy - who entered the camp on Wednesday (19.11.08) that he wouldn't be part of any clique.

Joe said: "Just because we've been here longer doesn't mean that we've got more rights than them. I don't think they should be made to feel unwelcome.

"Timmy's finding it a bit hard because I had a little chat with and not to feel awkward. I did talk to Timmy that he's not going mad. Just so he knows. We're here to get on with it. It just feels a bit uncomfortable. I don't know why it's happening."

George Takei is happy Joe Swash is comfortable kissing him.

The former Star Trek actor - who is openly gay - said despite the actor's heterosexuality, he has no qualms over showing his affection to the 72-year-old.

He said: "I know Joe's heterosexual but he's comfortable embracing me, kissing me."

Meanwhile, fellow campers insisted the pair are good together.

Glamour model Nicola McClean said: "Joe's really good for George, I think he keeps his spirits up, makes him do funny songs which are hysterical and they really get on."

Fellow contestant Carly Zucker added: "George and Joe are lovely, it's amazing how the two of them click."

Joe has been spending lots of time with the actor over the course of the show and has even been teaching him cockney rhyming slang.

He added: "They always say opposites attract. I've got a friend there for a long time with George."
