If there has been confusion about Christmas in Oxford city centre, there is no doubt about Christmas in Headington.
Our Christmas street lights and our Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 7pm on Thursday, November 27, by our ‘Christmas cracker’ Luke Foster of Oxford United Football Club and the ‘Christmas pixie’ who wins our children’s Christmas painting competition.
On the Friday the Farmers Market will be offering Christmas fare and Churches Together will offer up a glorious Christmas pageant.
On the Saturday, Father Christmas will visit us with presents, and the shops will offer lots of Christmas fun activities.
So, if anyone is at a loss and can’t find a good old fashioned Christmas in Oxford city, or anywhere else for that matter, they are most welcome to call in at Headington and join us in Headington.
Christmas is definitely alive and kicking here!
