Bicester's big Christmas lights switch on takes place on Thursday.
The annual event, which attracts hundreds of people to Sheep Street, will take place at 7pm.
Mayor Pauline Liddington will be joined by six-year-old Jaden Ashton, of Whitley Crescent, and eight-year-old Michael Ng, of Langford Village, to throw the switch.
The event, organised by Bicester Town Council and Cherwell District Council, also aims to attract late-night shoppers to the town.
