Traffic was forced to queue on the A34 near Didcot this morning following an accident.
The incident happened shortly after 6am on the northbound carriageway near the Milton interchange.
It is understood a driver escaped serious injury after his car hit the central reservation barrier.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance and a spokesman for Oxfordshire fire and rescue service said their staff did not attend the accident.
