Two people were taken to hospital this morning after their car hit a tree.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the A361, near Burford, west Oxfordshire, shortly after 8.30am.
One person had to be cut from the vehicle by firefighters.
The air ambulance was called to transport one of the passengers with spinal injuries to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The other passenger was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Their condition is not known at this time.
Both lanes of the A361 were closed for about two hours while wreckage from the crash was cleared and police.
The road has since re-opened.
