I'm just amazed at the journey Oxford United are taking at the moment — it defies belief.

I feel Nick Merry has done his best for the club — just a shame Oxford didn't go up in the first season in the Conference.

I feel that the management at the time didn't really have a plan 'B' after failing to get promoted to the Football League.

I do hope that Kelvin Thomas can do something, rescue the club and steer it into the Football League.

We really need to buy the stadium to sustain the club at this level and above.

It is also in Firoz Kassam's best interests that Oxford United survive, otherwise where is the money coming in to fund the stadium?

No rugby football, the odd fairground event or concert just can't sustain the existence of the stadium.

It is also the best interests of Kelvin Thomas to succeed at the club.

I don't want the worst case scenario that Mr Kassam buys back the club after everyone else has failed.

So I would like to say to Kelvin Thomas — good luck and I hope you do as you have said, and not give us any false hopes.

Keep in touch with the fans, create more business and secure the stadium.

Oxford United is a great club with a great fan base — a lot of clubs would love to have a fan base like ours.

So please, Mr Thomas, don't mess it up.
