A man has been charged in connection with an attack in Abingdon in the early hours of Saturday.

Jason Redford, 31, of Curtis Avenue, Abingdon, is accused of wounding with intent and causing actual bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Didcot Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

A 35-year-old man also arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.

Det Chief Insp Colin Paine, who led the 12-man investigation into the incident in the Waitrose car park in Ardlett Drive, said: "This was a serious incident where a knife was used and one of the victims suffered serious injuries."
