Still aching slightly from my first triathlon at Blenheim at the weekend.
The pain was not helped by a game of cricket on Tuesday night but that was slightly reduced when I took four wickets for 13 runs!
But I am still buzzing from my first attempt - so much so that when my colleague, Tri Chick asked me if I had got the bug, I said 'yes' and immediately entered the London Tri in August!
Fortunately it gone to my head too much and I stayed at the Sprint distance (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), having dallied with doing the Olympic (1,500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run).
But I have to keep up the training so immediately joined Oxford Tri Club to boost my motivation.
I also have to take a trip back to Swim Bike Run to replace my bike which got me safely round the course but is now falling apart before my eyes.
I learned a lot of lessons on Saturday and hopefully they should help me shave a couple of minutes off my time.
