Last night I watched the Us match on the telly. I have the greatest respect for Oxford United Supporters, their loyalty and optimism are second to none. So I want to post something positive about the match.
The Sky coverage was first class. Sometimes when televising a match from the lower divisions, television companies skimp on the number of cameras and technical expertise.
Last nights telecast was top drawer. Well done Sky !
I watched England play Israel at the weekend on the telly. I enjoyed the match. Why ?
England are currently ranked 17th in the FIFA ( according to their web site)world rankings.
They are not, at the moment, capably of playing to a higher standard than that. I accept that and enjoy the contest. I know it goes against the grain but England supporters should face the facts and enjoy the football match for what it is. Our Team are not World Class and on recent form it will be a long time before they are.
