This weekend saw good wins for Banbury, Oxford City and Didcot as well as North Leigh, Ardley and Witney United.
Banbury's recent form has lifted them to safety in the Southern League Premier Division despite their hectic schedule.
Losing to Tiverton on Monday night in the League Cup semi-final was turned round in the league with a 4-3 win for the Puritans.
In Division 1 South & West, Didcot returned to winning ways agenst Paulton 3-0, while Oxford City beat Brook House 2-0 thanks to a goal from from new signing Stuart Cattell.
Things are getting interesting in the Hellenic League after Slimbridge lost to third placed Ardley - only their second loss of the season.
This result puts North Leigh back to the top because of a resounding 3-0 victory at Pegasus Juniors.
Becouse its not been comfirmed as to how many teams are promoted third place could mean promotion for either Ardley or in-form Witney.
Holders Banbury Utd are through to the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final at the Kassam Stadium, but Chinnor played well despite the 5-0 scoreline.
The other semi will be played on Tuesday between Oxford City and Ardley Utd.
