A van which was described as being 'of interest' to police has been seized in an Oxfordshire village.
Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce pulled over a van near Enstone in West Oxfordshire on Wednesday, September 16.
Officers said the van was 'of interest to Gloucestershire Police'.
Checks showed the van had been untaxed since June, and officers described the insurance documents the driver showed as 'questionable'.
After further investigation, they discovered it was, indeed, uninsured.
The driver was reported for both of the offences and the van was seized by the police.
Overnight on Tuesday, the Rural Crime Taskforce were on patrol in the neighbouring county of Berkshire, where a Ford Transit van linked to 'metal theft' was recovered by the force for investigation, and a trailer loaded with car batteries was seized.
