A warning has been issued to UK music lovers attending festivals this weekend as the weather forecast for the bank holiday has been revealed.
Heavy rain is forecast to hit most of the UK during the bank holiday weekend.
A Met Office meteorologist has warned of possible thunderstorms and strong winds from Friday (August 28) through to Sunday (August 30).
The North West, Northern Ireland, and north-west Scotland are expected to be particularly affected.

Annie Shuttleworth, a meteorologist at the Met Office, said: "For most areas of the UK, there is at least a chance of a heavy downpour through Friday.
"Some of these bring the continued risk of thunderstorms."
On Saturday, only the far north-east of Scotland is expected to avoid rainfall, with wet and windy conditions forecast elsewhere.
Festivalgoers attending events such as Reading and Leeds or Creamfields have been warned of unseasonably strong winds, with gusts of up to 35mph possible along the south coast on Saturday.
The wettest weather is set to arrive on Sunday, particularly in the North West, Northern Ireland, and north-west Scotland.
Ms Shuttleworth said: "There is a chance we could see some quite windy weather through the bank holiday Monday, predominantly for more northern areas.
"But I think it will likely be a relatively breezy day for the UK as a whole so that may affect plans if you are outside this weekend at a festival or in a tent.
"That is something to keep in mind."
Coastal gales are also possible in parts of Scotland on Monday (August 31).
The return of rain offers a welcome change after a long, dry summer marked by five heatwaves, though Most of England and the whole of Wales remain in drought.

More than 20 flood alerts were in place across England on Friday morning, with additional heavy rain expected.
The shift in weather has likely disappointed many skygazers hoping to view Friday morning's partial lunar eclipse.
