A historic £1.8m Blenheim hotel in a Cotswolds town is under offer, with the listing having promised "year-round visitor footfall”.
The Blenheim Buttery in Woodstock dates back to 1668 and was listed for £1.8m by Manor earlier this year.
However, now, the estate agency has confirmed that the property is 'under offer' with details about the purchasing party set to be announced soon.

The Buttery is currently a four-star guest house and eatery with a 4.3 rating based on over 350 Google Reviews.

The Blenheim Buttery is two minutes' walk from Blenheim Palace - the ancestral home of the Dukes of Marlborough and where former Prime Minister Winston Churchill was born.

The palace was built in the early 18th century for John Churchill, a leading general in the Wars of Spanish Succession.
Before then there was a manor at Woodstock and a royal hunting lodge used by medieval English monarchs.
