Jeremy Clarkson has reignited his fiery feud with the country of Argentina ahead of England's World Cup clash.
The 66‑year‑old, who runs Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton, as seen on Clarkson’s Farm, took to social media on Sunday with a pointed message about England’s semi‑final opponents.
Mr Clarkson, who also lends his Oxfordshire‑grown barley to Cotswolds‑based Hawkstone Lager, has long used his life in the county as the backdrop for his outspoken views, whether on politics, motoring or football.
England face Argentina in Atlanta on Wednesday, July 15, at 8pm UK time, with the winners progressing to the World Cup final and Lionel Messi set to line up against the Three Lions for the first time at a major tournament.

The fixture revives one of football’s most bitter rivalries, taking in Diego Maradona’s notorious “Hand of God” goal in the 1986 World Cup and the fallout from David Beckham’s red card for kicking out at Diego Simeone during their last‑16 meeting at France 1998.
Their World Cup meetings have been repeatedly overshadowed by wider political tensions over the 1982 Falklands conflict, adding an extra layer of hostility whenever the two nations face each other on the biggest stage.
Those tensions have periodically spilt into Mr Clarkson’s own career, most notably in 2014 when the then‑Top Gear presenter and his BBC crew were forced to abandon filming in Argentina after violent protests over a Porsche carrying the H982 FKL registration, widely read as a Falklands reference.

The 66‑year‑old has always insisted the number plate was an extraordinary coincidence and has since described their hurried exit from Ushuaia, amid rocks and bricks thrown at their hotel, as more frightening than some of their reporting trips to war zones.
So when Thomas Tuchel’s England side beat Norway to set up Wednesday’s semi‑final, Mr Clarkson could not resist a fresh swipe.
Posting on X, he told fans: "It was hard to dislike our opponents last night. On Wednesday, however…"
The line that quickly clocked up six‑figure likes and millions of views as England supporters brace for another chapter in the long‑running Argentina feud.
