Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been pointing their cameras at the sky to produce some eye-catching photos.

Night skies was the latest weekly theme and club members took a variety of stunning shots in Oxford, across Oxfordshire and beyond.

Photos capturing the light at dusk worked particularly well, and it was Sue Craig Erwin’s spectacular image which has been chosen as the photo of the week.

The glowing orange sky is reflected in the water around the fountain, and there is a lot more to look at in this fascinating photo.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection of images are chosen to be featured in the Oxford Mail and The Oxford Times and one photo is chosen as photo of the week. The next theme is leisure time.
