Local partners are continuing to work together to address concerns around anti-social behaviour in an Oxfordshire town.

Demi from Vale of White Horse District Council’s Community Safety Team joined PCSO Jennifer Holt of Thames Valley Police (South Oxon and Vale) during a visit to Abingdon this morning (Friday, July 3).

They visited places in Abingdon where concerns about anti-social behaviour (ASB) have been reported, including Abbey Meadows, West St Helen Street, and The Charter.

Together, they looked at what improvements and actions could help address residents' concerns, also speaking with staff and members of the public.

Anti-social behaviour, ranging from noise nuisance to vandalism, can significantly affect residents’ sense of safety.

Partners are continuing to work together to support long-term solutions and create safer neighbourhoods.
