A pub in south Oxfordshire has launched a new series of trails and walks for drinkers.
The George at Upton, near Didcot, is owned by Ben Amos and Chris Smith who took over the pub about 18 months ago.
They have made a series of major improvements, and the pub, popular for its pizzas, Sunday roasts and other dishes, has a five-star food hygiene rating.

General manager Mary Galer said: ""Alongside great food, oversee by head chef Dean Joseph, we're always looking for ways to encourage people to visit while promoting healthy and sustainable habits. One initiative we're particularly excited about is "Walk the Line" – a scenic walk from Didcot to the pub that follows the historic railway line.

"We're also developing a walking route linking us with our sister pub, The Crown in Chilton. The idea is to create a fun "safari lunch" experience, where guests can enjoy a main course at one venue and dessert at the other, with a small reward available for those who discover the ‘clue' hidden along the 45-minute route.
"Our aim is to encourage people to get outdoors, enjoy the local countryside, support local business and reduce unnecessary car journeys where possible."

Ms Galer added that despite financial challenges now being faced by the pub industry, staff are incredibly proud of what's on offer at the village pub.
She said: "We genuinely believe we're serving some of the best food in the area. In our garden, we have an authentic Italian chef producing wood-fired pizzas, while inside our talented kitchen team serves both quality à la carte dishes and well-executed pub classics.
"We also offer a set lunch menu, which we feel represents exceptional value, at £21 for two courses and £25 for three courses.
"We also host wine dinners and curated menus for special events too. We have a private dining room to host all events from sporting celebrations, club achievements, corporate dinners and baby showers plus lots more!"
The pub has a 4.3 out of five rating on reviews site Tripadvisor.
One customer, who visited last month, posted: "Visited The George on Friday lunchtime to try their new express lunch offer.
"A wonderful pub, very attentive staff and the outdoor space looks fantastic after the refurb.
"The express menu didn’t disappoint, huge panini and fries at a great price, and also the biscuit that came with my cappuccino was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try the pizzas."
