Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham have issued a public message to their son Brooklyn amid an ongoing feud.

The former Manchester United and England footballer and his Spice Girl wife have lived in Oxfordshire for around a decade.

The couple, who have a Cotswolds mansion in Great Tew near Chipping Norton, have been embroiled in a public family feud for some time now.

In January, this came to a head as their eldest son, Brooklyn, made explosive allegations in a lengthy Instagram post.

He claimed that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and danced “inappropriately on me” in front of their guests, adding that he had never felt more “uncomfortable or humiliated” in his life.

And he also alleged that his wife had been “disrespected” by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party.

Now, his celebrity parents have issued public messages to him and his siblings to mark Father's Day yesterday (Sunday, June 21).

"Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all and thank you mummy Victoria for giving me our beautiful family," wrote Sir David on Instagram.

"Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world."

The former Real Madrid star included photos of all his children in the post, including Brooklyn.

Lady Victoria also shared a tribute on her own page as she wrote: "David, you truly are the best daddy.

"Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children, and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day."

The post featured a picture of Sir David standing on a beach with all four of their children, including Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14.
