An arrest has been made for 'provoking violence' by the Oxford Westgate centre.
Thames Valley Police has said they took a 44-year-old into custody following a public order incident in Queen Street in the city centre.
Several vehicles turned up at around 6.10pm yesterday (Thursday, June 18), including a van, as a man was placed in handcuffs.

The force has now revealed that he has been arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting language or behaviour intended to cause fear or provoke violence.
He has been released on bail with police asking for anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.
A spokesperson said: “We received a report of a public order incident at around 6.10pm yesterday (June 18) in Queen Street, Oxford.
“Officers attended and a 44-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting language or behaviour intended to cause fear or provoke violence.

"He has since been released on bail. No one was injured during the incident.
