Oxford woman missing for welfare check

A woman has been reported missing and has missed her welfare check, police say.

Shanica, whose surname has not been disclosed, went missing from Oxford and was reported on Wednesday, June 10 to the police after people were unable to find her for the check.

The 27-year-old was last seen at around 6pm on June 5 at Oxford Train Station.

Shanica is described as a black woman, around 5ft 5ins tall of heavy build and typically wears a straight dark wig.

She is known to frequent Oxford Train Station, Oxford city centre, Rose Hill, Sandford-On-Thames, Rose Hill and Littlemore.

A police spokesman said: "If you see Shanica, please call 999.

"If you have any information about Shanica’s whereabouts, call 101, quoting 43260290351."
