Scales of Justice results from Oxford Magistrates' Court

AWAIS CHOUDHRY, 27, of Navigation Street, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle at Dunstan Road, Oxford, without third party insurance on July 29 last year. Choudhry was ordered to pay costs of £400, a victim surcharge of £264 and a fine of £660. Choudhry was also given eight penalty points.

ETHAN WOODLEY, 32, of Kings End, Bicester, pleaded guilty to being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely an extendable baton, on September 5. He also pleaded guilty to using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on August 30 last year and on January 11 this year in Bicester. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and six months of alcohol rehabilitation. He was also banned from The White Hart and the Lamb Public Houses in Bicester for 18 months. He must also complete 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and an order was made for the baton to be destroyed.

LEE BROWN, 50, of Goose Acre, Cheddington, Leighton Buzzard, was found guilty of failing to provide information on the identity of a driver in Kidlington on October 15 last year who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was ordered to pay costs of £650, a victim surcharge of £264 and a fine of £660. He was also handed six penalty points.

TONY-JOHN HUNT, 21, of Hastings Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Gatteridge Street, Banbury, on October 23 last year without third party insurance. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £53 and a fine of £133.

SIMON VAUGHAN, 35, of Eynsham Road, Freeland, Witney, pleaded guilty to failing to provide information on the identity of a driver in Banbury between September 17 and October 15 last year who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was ordered to pay costs of £100, a victim surcharge of £138 and a fine of £346. He was also given six penalty points.

SAMUEL ROBESON, 22, of Hereford Way, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without due care and attention and driving without a licence at Albion Street, Chipping Norton, on September 11 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £120 and a fine of £40. He was also handed three penalty points.

ABIODUN MORAKINYO, 42, of Edward Court, Oxford, pleaded guilty to speeding in a 30mph zone on Woodstock Road, Oxford, on June 6 last year. The speed recorded was 53mph. He was ordered to pay costs of £120, a victim surcharge of £188 and a fine of £471. He was also banned from the road for six months and given six penalty points.

ADRIAN KING, 49, of Park Road, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without due care and attention at Marcham Road, Abingdon, on October 8 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £130, a victim surcharge of £72 and a fine of £180. He was also handed three penalty points.

NEAL STEWART, 55, of Beaconsfield Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving on the A4260 Oxford Road, Adderbury, without due care and attention on August 20 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £130, a victim surcharge of £181 and a fine of £453. He was also given five penalty points.

RYAN JOHAN HENDERSON, 41, of Sandycroft Close, Yarnton, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to speeding in a 50mph zone on the A40 Northern Bypass in Oxford on August 13 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £130, a fine of £230 and a victim surcharge of £92. He was also banned from the road for six months and given three penalty points.
